Competing among nine teams at the Lakeville Invitational, Albert Lea Dance Team won the third place trophy in the jazz competition on Saturday.

The team performed its award-winning jazz routine to “You Make Me Feel.”

It was the dance teams’ first competition of the season.

This Thursday, the team will be performing at Albert Lea High School at halftime of both the 6 p.m. girls’ varsity basketball game and the 7:30 p.m. boys’ varsity game.
