As a member of the Downtown Association we would like to say thank you to the Downtown Association for the beautiful wreaths that Santa delivered on Black Friday to all the businesses that are members of the Association. And to Addie from Addie’s Floral & Gifts for making the wreaths. They are truly beautiful. What a great tradition to start and a welcoming feeling for all who visit our stores. Also a big thank you to Destination Albert Lea for the continuing support of the downtown and helping with Holiday Stroll events that were held on Black Friday with the window decorating contest and the caroling, lighting of the Christmas tree and the Christmas movie at the Marion Ross Theater on Dec. 4. But most of all thanks to the community for shopping local and keeping our shops thriving through this tough economic time.
