Margaret E. Daub, 90, died peacefully on Dec. 5, 2009, at Good Samaritan Society.
She is survived by a niece, Julie (Darrel) Bancroft, of North Aurora, Ill; and nephews: Dr. Craig (Sheila) Daub of White Bear Lake and Dr. Brian Daub of Scottsdale, Ariz.; three great-nieces and nephews and five great- great-nieces and nephews.
Born in Missouri Valley, Iowa, Margaret was a lifelong resident of Albert Lea. She was preceded in death by her parents, John and Daisy Daub, and brother, Charles Daub.
Margaret retired from Norwest Bank, was active in Halcyon Chapter, Order of Eastern Star; Wa-tan-ye Service Club as past president; and the Auxiliary of Shrine Crippled Children’s Hospital.
The family will receive friends at Bonnerup Funeral & Cremation, 2210 E. Main St., Albert Lea, on Friday from 10 to 11 a.m. The service will follow at 11 a.m. with the Rev. Dwight Netzer officiating. Interment will be at Lakewood Cemetery.
Memorials are preferred to the First Presbyterian Church would be appreciated.
