Southwest Middle School seventh- and eighth-grade choirs will present their first concert of the year at 7 p.m. Thursday in the Southwest Little Theatre. The theme of the concert, “Here We Come a Caroling,” will be a celebration of winter and holiday songs, as well as a few more traditional pieces.

Special work by instrumentalists and small vocal ensembles will add to the evening’s performance. The audience will have a part in the program as well. Admission to the concert is free and open to the public.

The Southwest choirs are directed by Sherry Seberson.
