Thank you to Albert Lea Medical Center and Dr. Mark Ciota and his wonderful staff for taking great care of my knee last week during surgery. From the minute I arrived at six in the morning until I left the hospital, everyone was so professional and nice. My knee is coming along nicely and it is all because of the people who took care of me last Tuesday.

While recovering last week, I had a special nurse named Tayler. This little girl was not only my daughter, but she went above and beyond in helping me recover. One of the fun things we did while I was laid up was that she wrote this portion of my column for me. She wrote, came up with the questions, and typed it all so that I could just sit and answer her questions:

Tayler: Favorite is “Bonjourno” (reference to movie-”Inglorious Basterds”) and least favorite is “phlegm.”
