Alden-Conger head coach Bill Hintz wasn’t too pleased with his team’s free throw shooting but the Knights made them when they needed to Tuesday in a 64-61 victory over Martin Luther in Alden.

Alden-Conger hit two free throws near the end of the game to make it a three-point game despite the Knights making just 8 of 20 shots from the line in the game.

Spencer Niebuhr led Alden-Conger with 16 points while Lucas Kleinschrodt scored 15 and Tyler Adix 11.

The Knights play Janesville-Waldorf-Pemberton Thursday in Janesville.
