Funeral services for Raymond LeRoy Hatle, 68, formerly of Albert Lea, will be held at 10:30 a.m. Thursday, Jan. 21, at the Bayview/Freeborn Funeral Chapel. The Rev. Kent Otterman will officiate. Visitation will be one hour prior to the service. 

Raymond died Saturday, Jan. 9, 2010, after a long battle with cancer.
Raymond LeRoy Hatle was born on April 23, 1941, to Wesley and Edna (Boelman) Hatle in New Richland. Raymond enlisted in the Air Force in 1961 and received a medical discharge in 1961. In 1962 he married Carol Schultz; they later divorced. Raymond worked for Coca Cola in Atlanta, Ga., for 10 years as a refrigeration mechanic. In 1977, he remarried and she preceded him in death. Raymond moved back to Minnesota in 1989 and did odd jobs, eventually settling in Minneapolis. Raymond was a perfectionist and always wanted everything just right.
 Survivors include his children: David, Deborah and Diane; brother, Garrett Hatle; and sister, Katherine (Ronald) Woodside.
Raymond was preceded in death by his parents and brother, Greg.
