Vikings girls squeak by Huskies

After a loss to West Fork last Friday, the Northwood-Kensett girls’ basketball team tried to bounce back Tuesday night against Nashua-Plainfield in Northwood.
The Vikings used a strong second-half to get past the Huskies, 49-45.
Northwood-Kensett (11-5, 8-3 Corn Bowl) trailed 24-20 at halftime, but turned things around in the second half.
Northwood-Kensett had two players score in double figures on the night. Kate Hartman scored a game-high 26 points in the victory, while Britney Low poured in 10 points.
Nashua-Plainfield was led by Lacey Flugge, who scored 21.
Northwood-Kensett hits the court on Thursday as it travels to Glenville.
