Funeral services for Eleanor Genevieve Williamson, age 84, formerly of Glenville, will be held at 10:30 a.m. Monday at Glenville United Methodist Church. The Rev. Deb Miller will officiate. Interment will be at the Greenwood Cemetery. Visitation will be from 4 to 7 p.m. Sunday at Bayview/Freeborn Funeral Home and one hour prior to the service at the church.

Eleanor died Thursday, Feb. 25, 2010, surrounded by her family.
Eleanor Genevieve Williamson was born on Sept. 29, 1925, to Albert and Gina (Anderson) Nesset in Worth County, Iowa. She attended country school in rural Glenville. On March 29, 1946, she was united in marriage to Dale M. (Bud) Williamson. The couple made their home in Glenville. Eleanor spent her time raising her family and was also employed at Wilson & Co. Later she worked at Land O’ Lakes where she retired from in 1986. Eleanor was a member of Glenville United Methodist Church and the Glenville Legion Auxiliary. She enjoyed fishing, playing cards and puzzle books. Eleanor treasured the time spent with her family, especially her grandchildren.
Survivors include her children, Dorothy Prizler, Patricia (Craig) Roell and Cheryl (Mike) Reichow, all of Albert Lea; grandchildren, Cary (Peggy) Williamson, Tammy (Aaron) Cech, Ryan (Nikki) Williamson, Shawn (Sheryl) Ellingson, Kelly (Bridget) Ellingson, Dessari (Jason) Oakland, Amy (Joey) Talamantes, Amber (Trevor) Gilliam and Jordan Reichow; 16 great-grandchildren; brother, Arlen Nesset; sisters, Telores Knutson, Clarice Nesset and Alvina (Ray) Tovar; step-grandchild, Nicole Roell; two step-great-grandchildren; sisters-in-law; and many nieces, nephews and cousins.
Eleanor was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Dale M. (Bud) Williamson; son, Larry Williamson; son-in-law, David Prizler; and siblings, Bernice Wikoren, Arlene Williamson, Kenny Nesset and Art Nesset.
She will be greatly missed by her family. Blessed be her memory.
