Evelyn June Buschow, 96, of Wells, died Saturday, Feb. 6, 2010, at Parkview Care Center in Wells. Funeral Services will be held at 10:30 a.m. on Wednesday at the Assembly of God Church in Wells. Visitation will be Tuesday from 4 to 7 p.m. at Bruss-Heitner Funeral Home in Wells, and will continue one hour prior to the service at the church. The Rev. Hank Whinery will officiate and burial will be in Rosehill Cemetery in Wells. Bruss-Heitner Funeral Home in Wells is assisting the family with arrangements.
Evelyn was born June 21, 1913, in Wells, the daughter of Vernon J. and Clara (Johnson) Cook. On Nov. 9, 1932, she was united in marriage to Alfred W. Buschow. She was a member of Wells Assembly of God Church. She enjoyed traveling, reading crocheting and going for daily walks.
Evelyn is survived by two sons: Sherman (wife Charlotte) Buschow of Champlin and David (wife Karen) Buschow of Brooklyn Park; one daughter, Dawn Buschow of Wells; 2 grandsons: Dan (wife Rachel) Buschow of Champlin and Bob (wife Denise) Buschow of Henderson, Nev.; three granddaughters: Pam (husband Ryan) Potts of Kansas City, Mo., Juli (husband Glen) Bakken of Coon Rapids and Ruth (husband Steve) Malez of St. Michael; 14 great-grandchildren; one great-great-granddaughter and one great-great-grandson.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Alfred; her parents; one daughter, Deloris in infancy; brother, Gordon; sister, Lorraine and one granddaughter, Debra Buschow.
