Grand Meadow hits eight 3s to down Alden-Conger girls

Katie Hallman scored a season-high 29 points and pulled down 16 rebounds for the Alden-Conger girls’ basketball team but the Knights couldn’t overcome eight 3-pointers from Grand Meadow Monday in Grand Meadow in a 66-58 loss.

Alden-Conger (9-13, 4-8 Valley) fell behind in the first half by eight and never made up the difference. The Knights got as close as four in the second half, but the Superlarks answered back each time.

Ariel Keller added 14 points and Kenzie Martin 10 for Alden-Conger.

Abbie Fay led Grand Meadow with 17 points while Kristine Gerber scored 14 and Alex Swanson 10.
