Grand Meadow jumped out to an early lead and held the Glenville-Emmons girls’ basketball team off in the second half Thursday for a 51-36 victory in Grand Meadow.

The Superlarks held a 32-21 lead at halftime as the Wolverines struggled with their shooting the entire night.

Glenville-Emmons shot just 22 percent from the field while Grand Meadow continued to hit its shots.

Reina Saltou led the Wolverines with 11 points and Kalli VanRyswyk added 10 points and 13 rebounds.
