Jeannie Snyder, 58

Jeannie A. Snyder, 58, of Geneva, died Saturday, Feb. 13, 2010, at Homestead Hospice House in Owatonna.
She was born Dec. 27, 1951, in Huron, S.D., the daughter of Lyman and Phyllis (Hornig) Bich. Jeannie graduated from Iroquois, S.D., High School in 1970, and then graduated from Mankato State in 1974. She married Steve Snyder Oct. 5, 1974, in Yale, S.D.; the couple lived in Geneva. Jeannie previously was the director of Alpha Enterprises in Albert Lea, and was currently the Vice President of SAAFE, LLC, working with her husband Steve. Jeannie was a member of Zion Lutheran Church in Albert Lea, and enjoyed spending time with her family, gardening, and flowers.
She is survived by her husband Steve Snyder of Geneva; parents: Lyman (and Phyllis) Bich of Cavour, S.D.; daughters: Stephanie (and Anthony) Gentes of Denver and Samantha Snyder of Geneva; brothers: Gary (and Beth) Bich of New Holland, Pa,. Joel (and Joni) Bich of Reliance, S.D., and Greg (and Kristen) Bich of Cavour, S.D.; sisters: Sandy (and Steve) Atteberry of Colome, S.D., and Laurie (and Tim) Madsen of Ruthton.
Jeannie was preceded in death by her maternal grandparents: Phil (Anna) Hornig and her paternal grandparents: Herman (Freida) Bich.
Memorial service will be held Wednesday at 11 a.m. at Zion Lutheran Church in Albert Lea with the Rev. Joel Vano officiating. Interment will be in the Trinity Lutheran Cemetery in Yale, S.D. Michaelson Funeral Home of Owatonna is handling arrangements for the family.
