Garland R. Graves, 75, of Walters, died March 6, 2010, at Timely Mission Nursing Home, Buffalo Center, Iowa.
Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. on Wednesday at Our Father’s House in Albert Lea. The Rev. Kip Jentof will officiate. Cremation is at Minnesota Creamation Society.
He was a farmer and employee of Wilson’s (in Albert Lea) until retiring in 1977. After retiring he had a tree trimming and removal business until 2002. He remained a farmer at heart.
He is survived by his wife, Amelia; children: Dirk Graves of Wells, Kerry Graves of Alden, Bambi Graves, Scott Graves and Barbie Graves; and six grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his first wife, Marlene, and son, Rick Graves.
