Kathleen M. (Wentling) Danowski, 52, granddaughter of John and Mary Hubbard Leesport, bravely ended her battle with cancer on March 12, 2010, at home surrounded by her loving husband, daughter and family.
She was the wife of Michael E. Danowski. Born in Reading, Pa., she is the daughter of David J. Jr. and Kathleen H. (Hubbard) Wentling of Reiffton. She was a member of St. Joseph R.C.C. Reading and a graduate of Exeter High School in 1975.
Kathleen was a longtime county employee starting in 1992. She last worked for District Judge David Glass in Birdsboro.
In addition to her husband and parents, Kathleen is survived by daughter, Elizabeth K. Haas at home; brothers: Thomas J. Wentling husband of MaryNell of Bartlett, Ill., and Timothy E. Wentling husband of Melissa of Mt. Penn; sister, Maryellen wife of Thomas Fay of Midland, Texas.
Preceded her death was brother, David J. Wentling, III.
Friends may call at the Lutz Funeral Home, Inc. 2100 Perkiomen Ave., Mt. Penn, Pa., on Tuesday from 9 to 10:30 a.m. Mass of Christian burial will be celebrated in St. Catharine of Siena Chapel at 11 a.m. Interment in Gethsemane Cemetery. In lieu of flowers donations can be made to the Elizabeth K. Haas, Leesport, PA, Savings Fund c/o the M & T Bank to be used for college.
