Local students on South Central College fall honors list

South Central College has released the fall semester president’s list honorees. To be eligible for the president’s list, a student must earn a grade-point average of 3.5 or better.

The following students attending the North Mankato campus were included.

From Albert Lea: Jamie D. Wachlin.

From Alden: Derek William Bair, Emily Nicole Reyerson and Brady Merlyn Swehla.

From New Richland: Laura B, Hager, Jennifer R. Johnson and Mandy Joy Root.

From Wells: Julie K. Eichhorn.

Alex Stadheim named to UI fall dean’s list

Alex Michael Stadheim of Albert Lea was named to the University of Iowa dean’s list for the 2009 fall semester.

To be included, a student must earn a grade-point average of 3.5 or better.

is among 3,700 undergraduate students at the University of Iowa named to the UI Dean’s List for the 2009 fall semester.

Stadheim is a student in the college of liberal arts and sciences.

Scott Martinson graduates from Bethel University

Scott Martinson of Alden graduated from Bethel University in St. Paul following the fall 2009 semester.

Martinson was awarded a bachelor of arts degree in physics education, grades 5 to 12.

He is the son of Ross and Carolyn Martinson.
