A big first inning helped lead Lake Crystal-Wellcome-Memorial past the Alden-Conger baseball team Tuesday in Alden.

LCWM scored six runs in the first inning en route to a 14-4, five-inning victory against the Knights.

LCWM jumped out to a 12-0 lead before Alden-Conger scored in the bottom of the third inning.

Matt Jensen went 2-for-3 with an RBI while Jordan Johnson finished 2-for-3 and Tony Behnke also went 2-for-3.
