Alden-Conger girls’ golf team knocks off Glenville-Emmons

Alden-Conger senior Katie Hallman shot 46 to win medalist honors Tuesday against Glenville-Emmons at Oak View Golf Course in Freeborn and helped lead the Knights to a 223-289 victory.
Brenna VanEngelberg shot 59, Chrissy Reindal a 65 and Megan Johnson 63 for Alden-Conger.
Karrin Olson led the Wolverines with a 65 while Jenna Klingson shot 68, Kendra Davis 72 and Jenny Golbuff 84.
The Knights play Maple River and United South Central Thursday at Oak View.
