Brody Allen Vanryswyk, 24, no address listed, was arrested at 12:20 a.m. Friday for felony criminal damage and misdemeanor theft by Albert Lea Police for allegedly trying to steal tires and wheels off a new vehicle in the Dave Syverson Auto Mall lot, 2310 E. Main St.

A police report said Vanryswyk had jacked up the vehicle and already removed two wheels when he was spotted by an officer on patrol.
