Audri Foster, 74

Audri Foster, 74, formerly of Walters, died Tuesday, April 20, 2010, at her sister’s home in Walters. A memorial service will be held Saturday at 10:30 a.m. at Bruss-Heitner Funeral Home in Wells. The Rev. Don Rose will officiate. Visitation will be one hour prior to the service at the funeral home. Burial will be in Walters Cemetery, Walters.
Audri was born Feb. 2, 1936, in Walters, the daughter of Charles and Mabel (Behr) Schmitt. She was baptized and confirmed at Faith Lutheran Church in Walters. Audri graduated from Kiester High School and later married Glen Foster.
Audri worked as a secretary at Electric Machine and Midland Corp. in the Twin Cities before moving to Apache Junction, Ariz. She worked as a cashier at Walmart until retiring in January 2010. Audri enjoyed traveling with her husband, Glen, in their motorhome. She loved doing ceramics and bird watching. Audri moved back to Minnesota from Arizona on Friday, April 16, and was staying at the home of Jim and Jeanette Lenort. She was waiting patiently to move into her new home in Albert Lea. Audri will be missed by all who knew her-God Bless Her Memory.
Audri is survived by sisters: Jeanette (husband Jim) Lenort, Diane (husband Larry) Reinlasoder, Violet Meyer; brother, Ralph (friend Vicky Richards) Schmitt; two step-children: Joann Roadway and Dennis Foster; step-grandchildren: Jeffrey, Danni, Randi, Michael, Teresa, Terry and several step-great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews and cousins.
She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Glen; brother, Robert Schmitt; and sister, Betty Mae Hall.
