Austin Big Band to perform at ALHS jazz show

The Austin Big Band will performing as special guests at the Albert Lea High School jazz show next week.
Admission is free to the show which takes place Friday, April 9, at 7 p.m. in the Albert Lea High School commons.
The concert will feature a wide range of big band music from Count Basie, Duke Ellington and George Gershwin.
The Austin Big Band has been performing throughout southern Minnesota for the past 15 years and most recently performed at the Paramount Theatre. The band is made up of 17 musicians from southern Minnesota and northern Iowa. They are available for private parties, weddings and corporate functions.
