A report from the Freeborn County Sheriff’s Office says a “demolition derby car” was destroyed by fire near the corner of 129th Street and 800th Avenue south of Glenville about 8:50 a.m. Wednesday.

Rental truck missing

A 16-foot white GMC truck rented from East Side 66, 2001 E. Main St., on March 5 was supposedly to be returned the next day. This truck with the name “Budget” on the sides and Oklahoma license plates 2LX162 has now been reported to the Albert Lea Police Department as missing.
