Geraldine “Gerri” Tindal died at Kindred Hospital in Phoenix, Ariz., after battling multiple medical complications on March 29, 2010.
A memorial service will be held on Saturday, April 10, 2010, at 10 a.m. at the Hacienda De Valencia in Mesa, Ariz.
Gerri Tindal was born on Feb. 17, 1940, in Woden, Iowa. She worked at Wilson/Farmstead Foods in Albert Lea for many years. Gerri loved camping with her husband Jack and they spent many years camping at Cannon Gate Park in Waterville and enjoyed winters in Arizona. A few years ago they made Mesa, Ariz., their permanent home and loved the warm weather! She always had a smile on her face and lived life to the fullest. Gerri enjoyed spending her time with her family, friends and her special little dog, Honey.
She is survived by her daughter, Jena and her husband Brad Lombard of Faribault; son, Jeff Hagen and his fiancée Joyce Copas of Albert Lea; stepson, Mark (Tracy) Tindal of Austin; grandchildren: Brady and Dylan Lombard, Alexandra Hagen and Misty and Mike Tindal; brothers: Jim O’Rourke and Rick O’Rourke; her special little dog Honey; nieces and nephews; and many friends.
Gerri was preceded in death by her husband, John “Jack” Tindal; her parents, Sylvia Radtke and William De Bruyn; her beloved son, Jay Hagen; sister, Delores Christiansen; and brother, Joe O’Rourke Jr.
