Here comes Peter Cottontail, hopping down the bunny trail.
And he’s leaving lots of eggs behind for kids.
The seventh annual Easter egg hunt, sponsored by the Albert Lea Tribune, Northbridge Mall and Albert Lea Parks & Recreation, will be held Saturday at Northbridge Mall.
The hunt for children ages 0 to 4 years runs from 9:30 to 10 a.m. Kids should meet in the hallway near Herberger’s. Groups of 15 will be taken at a time with a limit of five eggs per child.
The hunt for ages 5 to 7 years and 8 to 11 years will be held at 10 a.m. sharp. Kids should meet at the storefront between Tradehome Shoes and Christopher & Banks.
The Easter Bunny will be on hand for those who wish to bring a camera and take a photo with him.
Nelson’s Market Place will hold its annual in-store egg hunt starting at 11 a.m.
Also, Saturday is the final day for the elementary and secondary student art show at the Albert Lea Art Center. Hours are from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. The Art Center will be closed on Good Friday.
