Knights baseball falls to Le Center/Cleveland

Eight errors and not a lot of timely hitting cost the Alden-Conger baseball team Tuesday in an 8-5 loss to Le Center/Cleveland in Alden.

The Knights (0-6, 0-3 Valley) stranded six runners in scoring position and committed four errors in the fifth inning.

The Coyotes took a 6-1 lead in the fifth inning, but Alden-Conger rallied in the bottom half to make it 7-4 before the teams traded runs in the sixth.

Max Keller went 3-for-4 for the Knights and Jordan Johnson and Lucas Kleinschrodt each went 2-for-4.

The Knights play Martin County West Thursday in Sherburn.
