Tim Brandt shot a 39 as the Lake Mills boys’ golf team shot a team score of 172 to take second place in a triangular Tuesday at Rice Lake Golf and Country Club in Lake Mills, Iowa.

Mason City Newman took first place with a 158 and Garner-Hayfield took third with 196.

Casey Tiedman shot a 42 for Lake Mills and Drew Appel shot three strokes back. Nick Barret carded a 46 for the Bulldogs.

Jacob Urdahl from Mason City Newman was the medalist with a 35.
