Lake Mills girls’ track takes second at home meet

The Lake Mills girls’ track team claimed five first-place finishes to score 101 points to take second place in the Class A division on Monday at the Lake Mills Invitational.
West Fork took the top spot in the division with 150 points, while St. Ansgar took third with 87 points.
West Hancock won the Class B division with 182 points.
Lake Mills sophomore Haley Krull captured two first-place finishes.
Krull took the 100-meter dash with a time of 12.57 seconds. She also won the 200 with a time of 26.54 seconds.
Freshman Hallie Erdahl claimed the top spot in the 400 in 1:02.14 seconds.
The Bulldogs also captured two wins in the relay portion of the meet.
Lake Mills claimed the 4×400 in 4:20.76 and the distance medley in 4:41.25 seconds.
Lake Mills is back on the track Tuesday as they travel to Forest City.
