Minnesota kindness gives residents pride

I would like to thank all the Minnesotans for having the standard Minnesota nice attitude. I recently saw a ditched car with several people in it. Over the course of about 15 minutes, four cars stopped to help. All four were waved off. I imagine the conversation was similar to this.

“Do you need any help?”

“Ohh, no thank you, we’ll be fine, don’t trouble yourself now.’

“Are you sure?”

“Yup.”

I think this shows the base philosophy of many Minnesotans that earns us that niceness award. Always offer and always decline, and put others before yourself, I have seen this time and time again. In the grocery store, in the mall, at the restaurant, and, yes, the road. It makes me so proud to live in a state with such high quality of behavior and values. Thank you so much for being the state I live in.
