Each year the Minnesota Deer Hunters Association provides scholarships for youth ages 11-17 to attend Forkhorn Summer Camp. These camps focus on ecology, biology, ethics and skill in a fun atmosphere that lends to experiences that affect every fiber of a youth’s life. MDHA believes that education is the key to perpetuating Minnesota’s outdoor heritage and that the best tool of wildlife and ecosystem education is instilling a greater appreciation for our natural resources in our children.

The Southern Gateway chapter of Minnesota Deer Hunters Association has sponsored area youth for many years.

Thanks to the community support of this fundraiser we are able to continue this project.
