Thank you for printing the article a few weeks ago warning vehicles that bikes will be starting to enter the roads, and to be careful around them.

I ride my bike frequently in the warmer months and I went for my first ride of the year a few days ago. Over the few miles I had traveled, I was impressed at how the vehicles were behaving. Cars were yielding for me at intersections, and giving me a little extra riding space on the road when a sidewalk was unavailable. One car even turned down their radio while they were passing me so I would not get distracted.

I feel this article had persuaded drivers to keep an eye out for bikers, and to show courtesy around them. I will be feeling much safer riding my bicycle now. Thanks again.
