Tigers girls’ golf flourishes in second meet at new course

The Albert Lea girls’ golf team appeared a little more comfortable at Wedgewood Cove Golf Club in its second meet at the course Thursday and the Tigers’ scores reflected that against Waseca.
Albert Lea shot 365 to beat the Bluejays by 35 strokes and improved to 2-0 at Wedgewood Cove.
Megan Pulley earned medalist honors for the second consecutive meet with her 86. Erin Brick followed with an 89 while Taylor Nelson shot 92 and Rachel Jensen 98.
Albert Lea faces Blue Earth Friday at Wedgewood Cove.
