America’s Best Value Inn of Albert Lea announces the appointment of longtime Albert Lea resident Tina Stripe to general manager.

As general manager, Stripe is responsible for the day-to-day operations of the 127-room, full-service hotel and its adjoining restaurant, the Big Island Grill, and the Land Between the Lakes Event Center. Stripe will continue to oversee sales and marketing strategies.

“Tina is a great asset to this organization and her leadership during the transition to the ABVI brand has enabled us to flourish and grow during a challenging period,” said Phil Johnson, the ABVI’s president and owner. “I know that Tina will bring the same energy and enthusiasm to her expanded role and continue to build on the ABVI’s solid foundation.”
