Blooming Prairie girls’ golf beats NRHEG, USC

The Blooming Prairie girls’ golf team beat New Richland-Hartland-Ellendale-Geneva and United South Central Tuesday in Blooming Prairie.
The Blossoms shot 229 while the Panthers took second with a 237 and the Rebels shot 240.
NRHEG’s Abbey Holland won medalist honors with a 50 while Hannah Moe shot 54, Lexi Wayne 65 and Maddy Reed 68.
Ali Wood led USC with a 55, Erinn Hotzler shot 60, and both Claire Christian and Genna Anderson shot 62s.
The NRHEG boys’ golf team won its triangular with Blooming Prairie and USC by 18 strokes and was led by Jon Walstrom’s medalist round of 38.
Aaron Patraw shot 40 while Seth Hansen and Dalen Ferber shot 41s and Matt Nafe shot 45.
Sam Gackstetter led the Rebels with a 40. Erik Willaby shot 49, Hayden Feist 50 and Nate Pederson 51.
