About 40 chickens were reported killed in a chicken coop on the 22000 block of 650th Ave. at 6:30 p.m. Wednesday, according to Freeborn County Sheriff’s Office reports. Reports indicated it appeared that an animal had gotten into the cage.

Trailer reported missing

A 43-foot trailer used for storage at JMB Group, 2309 Meyers Rd., was reported missing on Wednesday. According to police, the trailer was white and had Interstate Meats on the side. It had three flat tires and was taken sometime after May 14.
