Albert Lea ran into a hot hitting Royals team and fell 11-0 Saturday in Albert Lea. Mitch Wenum started for the Colonels (0-2) and pitched three innings as Rochester scattered 16 hits around the field during the game.

Outfielders Logan Kortan and Ryan Wangen each turned double plays, throwing out runnings attempting to tag from second base.

Kortan led the offense with a double, Wenum and Matt Schumann each singled.

The Colonels take the field again at home against the Austin Greyhounds, June 2 at 7:30 p.m.
