Danish Brotherhood Lodge 75 of Albert Lea met April 10 at Senior Court in Albert Lea. The meeting was called to order by President John R. Petersen, who led the group in the pledge of allegiance.
A moment of silence was observed for Richard H. Sorensen, a 65-year member of the Albert Lea Lodge who recently died at age 88.
Petersen commended Mike Levisen, who chaired one full day of Salvation Army Bell ringers on Dec. 21. Nine members participated.
Thank you letters were received from the Danish Immigrant Museum and from the Salvation Army for contributions made.
Petersen circulated a letter from the Sons of Norway inviting members to attend the Syttende Mai banquet to be held at their lodge hall on May 14.
Petersen introduced speaker William Goette who spoke on the Bent Tree wind energy project for the Manchester-Hartland area to be constructed this year.
Lunch for the meeting was served by Jim and Grace Tomson.
