I am writing this letter to all the people of Freeborn County to bring up the subject of litter. We all share a wonderful county, and we don’t need to throw our trash on the ground when there are plenty of garbage cans placed all over.

This county has many beautiful places to walk, along with lakes and streams. When people are driving or walking through these places, it is never pleasant to see someone’s fast food remnants, especially when these fast food remnants are sitting 15 feet away from a garbage can. We are all part of this community, and by not throwing your garbage out your car window or letting it drop behind you on a walk, you are helping to keep our county clean and beautiful.

Freeborn County is a lovely place with kind people and gorgeous scenery, but the occasional litter is not wanted. Nobody wants to pick up your garbage, so please, throw your trash in a trash can.
