Knights baseball defeats JWP

The Alden-Conger baseball team used a strong performance from senior pitcher Matt Jensen enroute to 7-5 victory over Janesville-Waldorf-Pemberton on Friday in Janesville.
Jensen hurled seven strong innings for the win and allowed three earned runs and struckout two.
Jordan Johnson helped lead the Knights at the plate with two hit and two rbi’s.
Alden-Conger took advantage of shaky Bulldog pitching as JWP could find the strike zone walking 13 batters,
After suffering losses in their first nine games, since then the Knights have gone 4-3 in their last seven games.
“More than anything, its nice to gain momentum with the playoffs begining on Monday.” Alden-Conger head baseball coach Brett Sindelir said.
The Knights play NRHEG at 5 p.m. in Alden.
