The Alden-Conger girls’ golf team qualified two girls for the section meet Monday after the 1A subsection meet at The Oaks Country Club in Hayfield.

Chrissy Reindal shot 125 to finish tied for 16th overall while Kelsey Behnke shot 126 for 19th overall and qualified for the section meet.

Lyle/Pacelli won with a 446, Blooming Prairie followed with 448. The Knights took fifth with a 532 while Glenville-Emmons took seventh with a 584.

Jenna Klingson advanced to sections after her round of 121.

McTague takes third overall

The Alden-Conger boys finished seventh overall and the Wolverines eighth. The Knights shot 413 and Glenville-Emmons shot 417.

Alden-Conger’s Brandon McTague carded the third lowest round of the tournament with an 82 and qualified for the section meet.
