Lake Crystal-Wellcome Memorial slips by United South Central baseball

No. 10 ranked Lake Crystal-Wellcome Memorial scored two runs in the top of the third and held United South Central to a single run in the sixth to defeat USC 2-1 Friday in Wells.
The Rebels were unable to come through in the the clutch as USC left nine men on base.
LCWM’s Jake Dalton got the victory, going six innings and only allowing four hits and one run.
A.J Dreyer took the loss for the Rebels as he went all seven innings and allowed four hits, and struck out three.
William Huper led USC at the plate, as he went 2-for-4 on the night, while Nick Fure went 1-for-3 with a double.
The Rebels are back in action on Tuesday when they play Fairmont.
