Leona Hagan, 90

Leona “Lee” Hagan passed away on May 15, 2010, at the Alton Memory Care and Suites in St. Paul at the age of 90. She was born Dec. 13, 1919, in Kansas City, Mo., to Archibald and Estella Dieckhaus.
She was preceded in death by her mother and father; first husband, Richard Cole; second husband, Harold Hagan; and brother, Donald Dieckhaus.
She is survived by her daughter, Cheri Cole; son, Pat Hagan (Sue), and daughter, Kathy Trumble (Cory Hermann); grandchildren: Chelsea Cassis (Michael) and Michael Hagan and their mother, Patricia “Poppy” Hagan.
Lee was an accomplished seamstress, an avid bridge player and golfer. She enjoyed reading and the challenge of crossword puzzles.
Lee was first and foremost a wife and mother. She started a career in real estate later in life and eventually became a broker and partner in Park Realty in Albert Lea.
A graveside service will be held at Fort Snelling National Cemetery Assembly Area 5 at 11:15 a.m. May 26, with a celebration of life ceremony and reception at the Alton Memory Care and Suites, 1306 Alton St., St. Paul, immediately following the graveside service.
