Mankato East defeats Albert Lea boys’ tennis 6-1

Mankato East swept the singles matches to power past the Albert Lea boys’ tennis team 6-1 Tuesday in Albert Lea.
The Cougars won all of the singles matches in straight sets and also won two matches in doubles.
The lone winners for the Tigers were Steven Kreun and Dyllan Engebretson at No. 2 doubles as they won in straight sets.
The No.1 doubles team of Noah Christopherson and Logan Tufte and the No. 3 doubles team of Aaron Woitas and Luke Cheever fell in three sets.
