Participants will complete a detailed questionnaire, complete four noninvasive tests led by Mayo Clinic staff, and receive personalized education on lifestyle changes that may help reduce the risk of developing heart disease.
Cardiovascular health questionnaire
Blood pressure
Height/weight and body mass index
Lipid profile (measures cholesterol) and glucose testing (measures blood sugar)
Ankle brachial index (compares the blood pressure between the arms and ankles, which can indicate decreased circulation)
Limited ultrasound of carotid arteries (arteries in the neck looking for blockage)
Limited ultrasound of abdominal aorta (abdominal artery looking for bulging; aneurysm)
