Mankato Loyola’s lineup proved too much for the New Richland-Hartland-Ellendale-Geneva baseball team to handle Thursday in an 18-1, five-inning loss in New Richland.

The 18th-ranked Crusaders scored seven runs in the first inning and added five runs in both the third and fourth innings to overtake the Panthers.

Junior Chad Schlaak scored the lone run for NRHEG in the third inning and junior Cody Kraay went 2-for-3.
