Rebels baseball busts out of slump

After being held to five hits combined in its past two games the United South Central baseball broke out for 10 in a 15-4 five-inning rout of Medford Thursday in Wells.
Seniors William Huper and A.J. Dreyer connected for home runs to help lift the 19th-ranked Rebels (9-5, 6-2 Gopher) past the Tigers. Huper went 1-for-3 with one RBI and Dreyer hit a grand slam to finish 2-for-4 with five RBIs. Senior Nick Fure went 2-for-3 with four RBIs.
Dreyer got the victory after scattering four hits and striking out five.
