I would just like to thank the Albert Lea school board for approving our England choir trip for the summer of 2011. Without them approving it, it wouldn’t be possible.

Every two years, the concert choir goes on a trip to another state chosen by our choir director, Diane Heaney. This time she didn’t pick a state, she picked a country. For the summer of 2011, she has chosen to go to England, if there is enough boys and girls to go along, that is. Since it is such a large trip, the varsity choir is also coming. We will sing at many different places and tour many areas in England. Many kids have never gone out of the country, maybe not even the state, which makes it a trip that we’ll never forget.

This couldn’t have been done without the school board. They were the ones who made the final decision to whether we’re going to England. So I would like to thank every member on the board for saying yes and making this trip possible.
