Thanks for your support of music

I am writing this letter to thank all of those in our community who have supported Albert Lea High School’s music program these past couple of years. By buying items from fundraisers, attending concerts, and making donations, they have helped to build our music programs and make things possible.
Recently, the symphonic band, concert band and orchestra were able to take a trip to St. Louis for an affordable price. This was because enough money was raised to make the trip less expensive. We attended a clinic at Washington University to improve our playing techniques and played at a church for elementary school students. We were able to go to the art, history and science museums they have there, along with the St. Louis Zoo. Also, we went to the Gateway Arch, on a riverboat cruise, to a symphony orchestra concert and to the Botanical Gardens. It was a wonderful trip and it was made possible because of the support.
Again, thank you to everyone who has supported the Albert Lea High School music program. I encourage you to keep supporting and helping out because I believe that music education is important and more great things are to come from music. Thank you.
