The Albert Lea boys’ golf team completed a 26-0 season at its home course Thursday with a 317-355 victory over Blue Earth at Green Lea Golf Course in Albert Lea.

It was an all-around exciting day for the Tigers as eighth-grader Adam Syverson aced No. 13 and seniors Sam Matheson and Tyler Brackey earned co-medalist honors with 75s.

Syverson birdied No. 11, pared No. 12 and got a hole-in-one on No. 13.

Sophomore Brady Falk added an 83 and senior Tyler Haaland shot 84 on his birthday.

Matheson shot 39 on the front and finished the back nine at 1-under while Brackey went 37-38.

Albert Lea heads to Rochester Monday for the Big Nine Conference meet and begins the Section 1AAA meet June 1 at Bellwood Oaks Golf Course in Hastings.
