USC girls’ golf places fifth

Freshman Ali Wood carded a 95 to finish fifth overall individually as the United South Central girls’ golf team finished fifth with 448 Monday at Belle Plaine.
Jessica Skaare from Blue Earth was the medalist with an 86 and helped lead the Buccaneers to first place with a 392.
Junior Erinn Hotzler shot a 112 for the Rebels, while Genna Anderson ended with 120.
Claire Christian finished with a 120.
