The Northwood-Kensett girls’ track and field team finished seventh Monday at the Corn Bowl Conference meet in Nashua, Iowa.

West Fork won the meet with 148 points, St. Ansgar took second with 137.5 points, Central Springs 94 points, Riceville 75 points, Nashua-Plainfield 56.5, North Butler 49 points, the Vikings scored 22 points and Rockford scored five points.

Northwood-Kensett senior Kathy Porter took third in the shot put with a throw of 33 feet, 8 1/2 inches. The 4×800-meter relay team took fourth with a time of 11 minutes, 18.8 seconds. The sprint medley took fourth with a time of 2:05.44 minutes.
